5 weeks to my first 10K race. Did 10 miles to work and back and a 5 mile Friday night run. In a PB as well.

For the first time I feel confident about finishing the race in some form of a sensible time.

12 weeks from struggling 1.4 mile runs to this. Tired, sore, but happy.

Wee pizza and a can of Bru as a reward, I think.

Awesome :) I'm supposed to be "training" for my first 5k...between injuries and scheduling I haven't had much time for trying to jog lately. I have a feeling there will be a lot more walking than running, but the point is that I'm doing it!!! Congrats :)

Injury is paid, pardon the pun.

One of my mates put his knee out at his martial arts class and is highly unlikely to make the 10K. To fair he'd off kick my *kitten* time wise, so that one's bit of friendly banter I won't have to take. Light-hearted of course.

Best of luck with the injury, and the 5K if you make it.
