Deodorant isn't paleo. Use coconut oil + flaxseeds.

Lol. But, people really do mix baking soda and coconut oil and supposedly it works really well as deodorant. I haven't tried it personally.

I just use secret, the kind that smells like vanilla and it's a clear gel.

    Am I doing it right?

No but really, I'd just get a clear gel deodorant if I were you.

I have clear gel deodorant, and have used it for many years, but it still leaves white deodorant stains on bras and such. So. Good luck?

I just wipe down with witch hazel and rub some baking soda on while it's still a bit damp. It doesn't stain my clothes and works really well (for me anyways, my husband is another story). I also scrub my pits with baking soda in the shower. That helped a lot when I was making the transition from antiperspirant to baking soda. I'm cheap, but if I had a bit more money I would totally go back to LaVanilla. Smelled so good and worked so well!

Yeah, I use the clear gel, but it still gets white on my clothing.

Also, I tried a deodorant that claimed it didn't stain clothing (for white or black clothing), and I wore it for only one day, with a white shirt, and it permanently stained my shirt with a blue color.

I've never had a problem with Dove. I wear white and black tops.
