Fluid intake

I've downloaded an app to monitor my fluid intake and to remind me. I don't drink nearly enough. Ive tried to get it to work on here but cant seem to.
I take a 2 litre bottle of squash to work and pretty much bring it home full🤦♀️🤦♀️.
My question is does coffee count as fluid intake?
I've seen conflicting information on the Web so don't know if it counts or not?

Yes, coffee counts as liquid intake... so do foods like soup which are mostly water.1

Yeah, coffee counts. It does have a mild diuretic effect, that's where people got the notion that it is causing you to eliminate most of the benefit.
