Daily tracking

It was tuff at first fitting foods into the calorie and nutritional guidelines. But it's been going much better this week. Can anyone share thier experience? xo Patricia

As with any new skill, practice breeds competence. When I first started logging foods with MFP, it'd take me about 5 minutes per meal; now I can record the entire day's worth of food in under 30 seconds total.

Hi Patricia! Counting calories is still new to me but I’ve been at it for about 3 months now and it isn’t that bad. The barcode scanner is amazing in that regard, and the nutrition information from restaurants!

It just slowly became part of my day - much like any other life admin. It does become easier once you build up a backlog of frequently used items and get comfortable with the food database and what entries are in the right units for you, and are reliable.
