create search function in desktop my recipes

This has been requested several times by this writer and others have requested the same. The app search function is not infallible and in fact can often provide an inaccurate result. I generally use my desktop to search and add since it is much easier for me to do rather than use the app. Please advise as to why this has not been created. I have nearly 90 pages of recipes I have to search through and update as I add more recipes. I do like MFP but am beginning to look at other sites since there has been no response to these various queries.
