Why can't I rearrange the order of the foods I input for each Meal like it used to?

Basically what it says. I use the Android app. Before fairly recently, I could input the foods contained in a Meal, for example:

Breakfast:
-Coffee
-Coffee Creamer
-Eggs
-Toast
-Jam

In this arrangement, Coffee is next to Coffee Creamer, Jam is next to Toast, etc. Things are grouped together properly, it makes visual sense, easy to read. And if I wanted to rearrange the order, I could. But now, it will almost randomly order my foods to look something more like:

Breakfast:
-Coffee Creamer
-Jam
-Eggs
-Toast
-Coffee

And it won't let me rearrange them to group things together that make sense. Like why is Jam right next to Coffee Creamer? You know? Which, maybe for this simple meal, isn't so bad. But it gets more confusing the more items I put in a Meal.

I'm autistic, so being able to see things in the order I want them is important so that I can actually process what I'm seeing. With too many food items, my brain loses track of what I've put in and what I haven't put in, because it's all scrambled up.

What's happened? Why can't I rearrange food items anymore? This is becoming difficult for me to use now, and I'd love to know if I'm doing something wrong, or if that feature will come back, or why on earth it would be taken away in the first place?

I've never noticed behind able to reorder food items. For me, it's just in the order I add things, and if I update an item (changing quantities) it will go down the bottom again.

You don't mention what platform you're using, perhaps there are differences there

Oh, is Android app not the platform? I'm not using the website on the computer.

Mine will sometimes put the foods in based on which order I input them, but just as often will scramble them up. Before, I remember being able to click on and open up one of my food entries, then press the checkmark, and as you say, it would indeed just go down to the bottom. That's the process by which I've always reorganized them. But now it won't do that. I can click on a food entry, and press the checkmark, and the food will often just stay in the same exact spot and not move anywhere, or sometimes it will move, but in random ways like it will skip one or two foods down but not all the way to the bottom, or something odd like that, and then won't move at all when trying again. Very confusing.

Well, aside from the android app, there's the desktop version and the iOS app, which can differ in how they work.

But since you have the same app as me: it doesn't seem to have changed for me, I just tested it with a few items.

These boards aren't always checked by MFP staff, it's mostly just other users here. But if they do reply, they'll probably just tell you to contact the helpdesk, you could try that?

I will contact helpdesk and go from there thank you. I know it's such a weird and specific issue that probably most people wouldn't notice or care lol

Exactly this but I only use the desktop version.

I would totally love to be able to do this tho. I apparently love grouping things. I'm looking at you, m&ms!
