Protein?

Question: *new to the group. I've entered all my info, but why is protein goal on dashboard different from the math given from fitness pal to figure out what my requirements are?

    We'd need more details.

    Are you comparing the goal in your food diary to a number you calculated based on math in the MFP blog or an MFP eating plan? If so, those two different things will tend not to match exactly.

    Speaking generally:

    The goal in your food diary is a simple percentage of your calories. Formulas based on your height/weight/age/goal and other factors will probably be more nuanced.
