Anyone try or currently do either of these? I can't figure out which one could be better.

I'm doing BBL in addition to Body Revolution right now. Ow. Just ow. Especially High & Tight. It is a really good workout. I'd say intermediate. It's not hard to follow, but some of the moves require a bit more strength and it's not as easy to modify certain moves. And the Sculpt workout (which is the full body) is good, but not great. Cardio Axe is a blast, but if you're used to HIIT cardio, it will be a lot less intense. All in all I really like it, but I'm glad I'm doing another program with it since there are certain things that it lacks. Although a great surprise was the focus on the back muscles for good posture. I really loved that. I did YBB with my birth mom a few years back and I remember it being really easy (and I was in a lot worse shape then). Yoga and yoga type workouts come easy to me, so it might not be as simple as I remember. But it definitely seemed like more of a beginner routine. BBL doesn't do a lot of flexibility, so that's one part that I think YBB would be better for. I can't really tell you which one is better, but I hope I gave you some info that might make it easier for you to decide! Good luck!0

That is a good start. I do well with yoga type workouts so I often use other things to make a mix. I have other things I can mix it up with too....but I wasn't sure if YBB is intense enough. Hard to make a decison0

If you're really invested in trying to improve your backside I'd like to throw in a vote for barbell squats and deadlifts. Soooooo much more effective than dvds0

YBB has better cinematography; BBL has a better story line and character development.0

Better for what? What are your goals?0 -
throw something different in a workout and firm up the lower body.0

If these workouts are your only 2 choices, then I would go with BBL. You can make it more intense by changing out the resistance bands and even buying new ones since the workout only comes with 3 light resistance ones. Also keep in mind that it is mainly for endurance and not muscular strength since you are doing a ton of reps with light "weight."
To firm up the lower body, your best bet is to do weight training such as squats and deads as mentioned before...and if you really are stuck on beachbody workouts, I would recommend Chalean Extreme for that. P90X only has 1 leg workout, and it is mostly weight free since you are using body weight.0 -
I am good for what I can do at home since I don't have time or a babysitter for regular gym visits. If I get it, then definitely getting some extra resistance bands that are stronger would be a good idea. Or maybe try Chalean Extreme...we'll see. Thanks for the advice, it helps0

whichever you put more effort into doing will be better. they are equally terrible though, so doesn't really matter which you choose.0
