Hey MyFitnessPal community. My name is Taylor and I’m 7 weeks into my fitness journey. My goal is to get to a healthy weight where I can feel confident and strong in my body with a renewed relationship with food. Today I’m feeling discouraged. Over the past 7 weeks I’ve lost about 9 pounds but it has been a roller coaster on the scale. I try to only weigh myself once a week. Last week I was down 11 pounds but then this week I’m back up 2 pounds but I have been super diligent with working out and staying close to my calorie budget. It’s discouraging not to see a consistent decline on the scale when I know the effort is there. But I don’t want to give up and I want to be grateful for the pounds I have shed. Anyone else experienced the roller coaster on the scale despite staying on track?
