Ankle weights-worthless or awesome?

I've added 20lbs of ankle weight to my daily attire lol and i cut it to 10 for my lunch time 30 min run, back to 20 until after work then cardio again this time for 20 at 10lbs, and then put back on the 20 weights and wear it until bed time.

How do you use your ankle weights?
Any luck with them?

    I wear them during my prancercise workouts.

    I wouldn't waste your time. Ankle weights are notorious for causing injuries and they really don't do much of anything anyway. Not worth the risk for minimal (if any) reward.

    If you're really dead set on adding weight, I'd use something like a weighted vest where the weight is centrally located and your body is a lot better equipped to handle it. You're still not going to get much benefit, honestly.
