Food inputs

I've been mostly doing my inputs by hand looking up USDA nutrition facts. I decided to create a recipe on here for myself that I had looked up every ingredient. Every input, Protein, Carbs, Fat, and Calories exceeded the amount, sometimes significantly. Is there a better way? Doing it all by hand is very time consuming.

I'm not sure I'm understanding your issue...
If you already entered all the ingredients...
Example: I have potato salad entered as a recipe. When I first created the Recipe I just searched for each ingredient using the recipe builder...I found the potato, the dressing, the celery, the onion, the egg, the mustard. They all got added to the recipe I was building in the portion(s) I chose. I did have to check each of the ingredients as I was adding them to make sure that I chose database entries that were correct, but once that's done, the recipe will calculate all the macros and the available micronutrients. I can add or subtract or change the amounts of [say] the potato or celery if I need to the next time I make it.1
