Hi my name is Brandy and I am new here, as well as to the health and fitness world. I havent worked out in at least 20 years and I never watched what I put into my mouth. Now that ive hit middle age. I have found that I have added almost 80 pounds and everything I eat adds 10 pounds. My goal is to get to a lower healthier weight through nutrition and exercise. Just beginning, I have started my morning with a light 10inute stretch, then about noon I'll go for a brisk 15 minute walk, and then finish my day by doing another 10 minute full body stretch before bed. Like I said, I'm starting off small but will work out more as I progress. I'm very excited to be on this journey and look forward to being here with all of you. If anyone has any advice that would help guide me, by All means, share it. Thank you

Hi Brandy. I know what you mean about middle age although I am maybe a little past middle age since I will be 50. Things definitely have changed. Any freedom we had to be careless with food and drink, well it comes back and bites us hard now.
I had great success on MFP years ago but I ended up leaving and gaining my weight back. I would blame covid but it really was my being lazy and not caring. Well I hope I turned the corner again to reaching that same success again. Hope to be friends and support one another.0
