Here i am trying to give feedback but i am not sure if that is where this post is going.
My idea is to make it easier to correct and complete a bad entry.
I"m trying to fix haldiram's spinach pakoras which has several errors including spelling the brand and i have wasted 20 minutes on it and still unable to do it. Driving me nuts.

It is a pretty straightforward ten second fix on the web version...I make edits all the time. You can also just enter a completely new food database entry if the edit feature is doing your head in
You don't say if you're trying to do it on a phone app? If so, I got nothin'.0 -
..one thing I have found is that after I save an edited version, it doesn't always show up right away in the database. . . like, I have to usually refresh the page. It isn't instantaneous. As much as my little brain seems to think it should work like a pencil eraser, I have to remind myself it has to go out on the interwebz and then come back to me.2
