I'm back...after an almost 2 year hiatus.

Hard to believe that the last time that I was using (on a daily basis) MFP, I had just found out that I was pregnant. My daughter is now almost one and I'm ready to make my grand (re)entrance.

I lost 30 pounds using MFP before I got pregnant. I gained 44 pounds with my pregnancy, lost 25 of it and now I'm only 13 pounds away from where I was when I delivered my daughter. Definitely not okay.

My ultimate goal is to become a police officer in the next two-ish years and in order to be able to hang with the boys, I need to be in awesome shape. So I am looking for fantastic people to kick my *kitten* and help keep me motivated. Good luck to you all on your journey to become healthier!

  • I had a similar story. Lost 25 lbs before baby, gained 30 ish, lost most of it, and gained it all back. I've now lost 25 lbs and am working on the last 10 lbs. For me it has been challenging to keep the weight off. It's as if my body just wants to go back to where it was at the height of my pregnancy. I'm determined though to figure out what and what not to eat/do in order to keep my weight under control. I wish you the best on your journey.
