Getting started! Call all 50 somethings!

:smile: Hi Everyone,

I just started and am on my third day now. I did lose 2 lbs last week. So far so good.
I would like to know if there are any other 50 something women out there who are also trying to lose a good amount of weight?
I currently try to work out 6 days a week, do eliptic machines, rowers, walking and aerobic tapes plus weights 3 days week.
Never lost weight quickly, and menopause might slow things down, but I already feel much better .

    Hi...Do you have a group for women in their 50'? I started about 8 weeks ago, at 94.2 kilograms, and want to lose 100 gms a day for a year. Have had success so far, but would like to have some like minded individuals on my journey - for those difficult days.
    Not sure how to actually "join" a group on MFP.
