Just turned 50 the other day and realized my mind thinks I am 25....my body laughs at me. Retired Navy and since 2010...yea well, OMG! 270lbs is not easy on the head, shoulders, knees, and toes...the back goes without saying. All joking aside I have a 25 year old son that i would like to be around for and at my current path things have to change for me. Getting back to the gym and trying to get some years back! If you want to work this together I am here for you as well!

Age 45, ex-USAF, sons age 20 & 18, so I'm right there with ya. MFP and hitting the weights have helped me swap 50+lbs of fat for 25+lbs of muscle, and it's hard to say which I enjoy more, my mirror image or how much better my joints feel! (Not really...no-pain joints all the way!)1
