Hi I’m Melody: I’m 22 days in, lost 1.6 lbs and am already starting to plateau. I wonder if 1,200 is enough base calories. I’m 5’5” 146lbs 59 yrs old lift weights 3x per week and walk 10,000 steps per day. Any comparable input would be appreciated. Thanks!

You've lost 1.6lbs over 22 days: that is not a plateau. A plateau is no loss after 4 to 6 weeks at least.
Your expectations are not realistic, weight loss is rarely linear and you need to look at the long-term trend instead of the daily fluctuations.

1200 kcal sounds low for someone your height and weight and with 10k steps a day.
I'm 5ft5 and I lost weight just fine eating 1700 calories and more.

By the way: is the weight lifting new? That could cause water retention masking fat loss on the scale. I would suggest measuring yourself, as an extra metric to measure your progress, on top of weighing yourself.
