You are invited to check us out...

The Ultimate Accountability Challenge (UAC) provides both weight losers and maintainers with incredible accountability partners AND an emphasis on life-changing healthy basic habits.

This is not the flash-in-the-pan 'biggest anything" short-term challenge. This is the real deal!! We are a non-commercial volunteer group with a proven track record of significant team member success.

We enthusiastically welcome our returning veterans and newcomers too!

The accountability is a daily report of:
1) More than 20 minutes of daily exercise;
2) Tracking the caloric intake of both food and beverage;
3) Consuming no more than your chosen limit of daily calories
4) Reporting of your fulfillment of the above (daily, or every other day).

A non-fulfillment of any of the above equals a Pass Day. There are 3 Pass Days allowed per month.

Those who end the month with 3 or less Pass days are celebrated in the monthly Winner's Circle Qualification!!

This group emphasizes long-term changes, but you can sign up for one month at a time.

    As a 5 year maintainer (altho anyone will greatly benefit) I really like this group. It keeps me honest when I start to get lazy with tracking and the subtle 20 minutes per day is very encouraging to get some exercise in. It is a nice long term method of instilling three solid basics to good health with self accountability.

    If you’ve been looking for a group where “everyone knows your name” just like the bar in the TV show Cheers, this is the group!

    The 3 simple rules seem to work like magic to “keep us in the game” with whatever we need to do: losing, gaining, or maintaining.

    Three Rules:
    1. 20 minutes exercise daily (and you determine what counts as exercise -cleaning house counts for some; others run, and everything in between…

    2. Track all your food daily

    3. Keep your calories under target daily (And you set the goal)

    Some of the Members volunteer to cheerlead us based upon our daily posts - it really helps!

    And others create opening posts on a variety of helpful/inspirational topics.

    We are a friendly & supportive group!

    If you want to lose weight & keep it off, you owe it to yourself to try this group.

    (I highly recommend participating 3 months before deciding whether it’s for you. It can take awhile to manage the daily aspect of exercise, honestly tracking every single thing you eat/drink, and keeping calories to your target on a daily basis.)

    Many of us also focus on deciding what new habits will support us in being successful if that’s something you do or would like to do.

    I weighed 228 lbs Jan 1 2016, 7 years ago and had been obese (I called it overweight) since puberty ~ 45 years. I lost, but could never maintain.

    I maintained a normal weight for 4 years & recently turned around a 3-month blip & am now back there.

    Mostly thanks to this group - forever grateful

    I've been with UAC since 2017. This is such a great motivational space, where you get valuable support from the kind, caring members. It has helped me finally reach my UGW (just before Covid hit the world for six) and stay there for the duration.

    Posting everyday helps build solid habits which will help you on your quest for better Health and Fitness.

    Although my focus shifted from weight loss to fitness/health well before I went on maintenance, I'm delighted that, in October 2021, I fell below my original UGW, and I have managed to maintain this.

    Bring it on!!!
