I enjoy going to the gym I really do but my gym clothes are leggings and large shirts with a fitted colorful tank tops under it and my tennis shoes but I feel so ugly compared to ppl walking around in shorts and cute tank tops but really I would look so nasty if i wore that u would see my nasty arms and thighs plus the tank tops are fitted so they show everything....really I'm just protecting their eyes.....lol but for real How do you get over this and just accept it I worry about it the entire time I'm there about how nasty I look and what everyone is thinking. It's exhausting!

How about not putting so much importance in gym fashion and go workout.0

I don't give two poops what people are wearing at the gym. Neither does anyone else. And if they do, they're probably not the type of people you'd want to know anyway.0

anyone who's paying more attention to what you're wearing than their own workout needs to question why they're in the gym
don't worry about what you look like, you're there to work out, not be on a catwalk. And those people in cute little outfits, if they still look cute at the end of their workout then they didn't work out hard enough (unless your definition of cute is dripping with sweat... then you can look cute at the end of their workout.... just had to point that out as my husband has a weird definition of cute lol)
Anyway, serious gym goers will admire you for your dedication and won't care about how you're dressed0 -
I've never noticed anyone else's wardrobe or body flaws....too worried about my own.
wear clothes that feel comfortable, that allow you the best support and comfort so you can get the most out of your workout.0 -

I go to gym to work out. Not so sicialize or stare at hot bodies, compare closing or wonder how fat/skinny/ropped person next to me looks. And so as 99% of other people. Nobody will give a crap about how you look there, they just care about their workout.
People wear good looking closing more for their own not for others there, it's to boost their ego and look at mirrors. Guys flexing and girls looking t their butt. Nobody else does...0 -

You wear similar clothes to me (leggings tank top and loose t-shirt over) just wear what is comfortable and suitable for working out in who cares what everyone else is wearing
And it doesn't matter what you wear you're just going to get them all sweaty anyway :laugh:0 -
There are things that you can wear that are figure flattering if you want to change it up a bit. I doesn't matter what your size is, as long as it fits your body. Don't worry about what others are wearing at the gym. I don't understand people who go there with perfect outfits and hair, wearing perfume. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I'm not at the gym trying to look cute.0
