I don't think MFP tracks net carbs

Correct, it does not. It’s pulling from nutrition label information, which does not typically show net carbs. (You might,, however see it on products that are marketed specifically to carb counters.)

Premium MFP tracks net carbs. Free MFP does not. In premium, I believe it's calculated by MFP (probably somewhat imperfectly as total carbs minus fiber, but I'm not sure).

I do have premium, but don't care at all about net carbs (or carbs generally, really), and don't ever scan foods. That means I don't know whether it should show up when the food is scanned and isn't, or it doesn't show net carb on the individual food but shows it in some totals, or what. I know I've seen a value for it someplace in premium, but I don't recall where. I dimly recall seeing a net carb setting somewhere, so maybe it's a feature that needs to be turned on, even in premium?

I'm sorry, @jackiemfink, I don't really have the answer that you want here . . . but I do know that some of the assumptions in posts above are incorrect. I hope someone comes along who actually knows the answer. Apologies!
