New to MFP and Explore New Lifestyle Habits...

Hi folks, and Happy Holidays. I am new to MFP and trying it our for the new year to help develop a healthier lifestyle. I am 55 years old and a seafood lover; avid walker (with our dog); mountain hiker and kayaker. I'm a health care professional and consider myself healthy and in reasonably good shape, BUT can lose 50 pounds and be much healthier for it. Trying to adopt a healthier "lifestyle routine" and that in itself can be a real challenge, mainly with breaking old habits after years and years of routine (like eating while watching TV in the evenings).

I plan to explore an Intermittent Fasting Lifestyle and happy to learn that MFP now supports that as well - I'm generally a 'clean eater' and tend to choose organic, whole foods more often than not.

Although I'm not certain it's appropriate here, and my apologies for that, but I am looking and would appreciate any interested MFP friends and mutual support.
