Food nutritional value mistakes

Hi,
I am a relatively new user… Well actually I was a member in the past and started again… But I notice a lot that the nutritional information that others put in is incorrect and you pull into your dashboard and it’s not right. For example, yesterday I ate a food that showed up on my dashboard (because it was entered this way) as having 86 g of added sugars… And I was surprised… so I then looked at the packaging and it’s only 6 g of added sugars … so how do you trust what is in the database?

You check the entries against the label, that's all you can do. Food database entries are mostly crowdsourced, so yes, lots of mistakes.
Once you've used the same food database entries a few times, they show up in your frequent foods, so it does get easier.0
