    You're at about .75 Lbs per week...that's actually good. Losing weight is a slow process. If you want to get to around 1 Lb per week just decrease your daily calories slightly. Around 1 Lb per week is realistic for most people and you're pretty much there. Faster than that isn't really very realistic for most.

    Never use the words only and lost in the same sentence. Do you keep a food diary, use a food scale and measuring cups? You really don’t know where you’re at without weighing and measuring.

    There is a significant calorie counting learning curve that gets about zero discussion. No one was born counting calories. They don’t teach it in school. Plus, even with a food scale, unless you eat 100% food you prepare, there are going to be gray areas. Learning calorie counting involves a lot of trial and error. Trial and error, by its nature takes time. The time factor is probably what drives most people to quit. Don’t be one of them. Stick with it. Good luck.
