I've never posted anything here but I have been using the app with my Apple watch for at least a couple of years before which I had Fitbit. After having cancer, 3 operations and chemo 5 years ago, the Oncologist told me to walk 5 times per week for half an hour for cardio. I try to go every night weather permitting for at least 45 min. It really bothers me to miss a night due to rain or snow. I get this crazy feeling like I'm going to gain 10 pounds or something horrible for missing one walk. I keep track of everything I eat. Before cancer, I weighed as much as 223. Now for a long time, I have been closer to 155 (152-160) and I love it. My doctor and family say I am too skinny but I feel like I'm in much better shape than in decades. I'm 73 by the way and a guy.

Hello, and welcome to the Community forums.

I'm a fellow cancer survivor, so congrats on leaving that unpleasant cancer-treatment "hobby" behind you. ;)

How tall are you? I have to admit, if my doctor told me I was too thin, I'd be concerned, even though the American Cancer Society seems to think that with the type of cancer I had, it's good to stay at the lowest reasonable maintainable weight that isn't underweight. (I'm F, 5'5", age 67, right now around 130 +/- pounds, so BMI 21-22ish, which my (multiple!) doctors are fine with.)

    Wishing you continued good health!
