I've lost around 120 pounds over the last few years, I regained about 10-14 pounds in the last year, because I got graves disease and the meds made me gain, which is normal and i'm working on losing that. I had to stop exercising when graves was really bad, so it's been a year since I properly worked out. (i was lifting and cycling before that) but I need to restart. The problem is, even when I was working out regularly before, my muscles are really rigid and inflexible, and my core strength is very poor. I don't want to pick up any weights until i've addressed my flexibility and functional fitness. But I can't find what I'm looking for, keeping in mind, i cant even do one sit up, i also have a connective tissue disorder so even basic stretching can leave me in pain, i want something that starts with the basics and works up to more advanced levels of calisthenics and flexibility. i dont mind paying some, as long as its not excessive.

Can you get a referral to a Physical Therapist/Sports Medicine/Physio? That's your best bet and with your medical diagnoses I would think it would be easy to get that referral from your current medical team.3
