I've never been through something like that and would like to know how to go about making arrangements, but I don't really know who to talk to about it. How do you take the hurt out of caring? I get very down and discouraged by people's hurt that is bigger than what I can help. Also sometimes when I get upset it's unreasonable and I know it and that makes me more upset, creating a self-perpetuating cycle. Identify what I want: to have my professional expertise acknowledged and given the respect it deserves, and to be taken as a legitimate authority.

    14. Just for fun: Start sketching dragon on a pile of books, offering one to the armored knight, & banner that reads "Treasure should not be hoarded / It should be shared." Use AI for ideas.

WFTY: Priorities. So, a very full day today that ended up going differently from how I'd planned, but not necessarily in a bad way.
2020 WFTY: Progress. 2021 WFTY: Persistence. 2022 WFTY: Focus.

I;ve been MIA again ... just life.
But wanted to hop on here, and wish all of you a very merry christmas. My prayer is for a happy new year, and a great 2024 for everyone.

Our Christmas will be very quiet .. just hubby and our daughter. But .. our 17 year old grandson is flying in Jan 2 to spend 5 days with us. We are excited, and have lots planned for when he is here. So .. hoping it all goes well, and he doesn't get too bored!

@PackerFan001 -- HUGS to you, that you are able to enjoy the holiday season without too many effects from the chemo. You are in my daily prayers.

@more_freggies76 -- enjoy your trip! Sounds like so much fun to visit different parks! I love to hike.. my favorite thing to do, but I've never been to many of the parks to enjoy.

Good day everyone! I rode with my husband to drop off Christmas serving dishes at my son’s today. They are hosting the family gathering this year since I can’t be around a lot of people. I’m happy they’re all pulling together and still getting together for Christmas but I must admit I’m feeling left out and kind of sad that we can’t be with them. But, it’s for the best. I’m hoping to have a family get together here late May or June to make up for it.

I hope you all have all a very blessed and Merry Christmas! All the best to you & yours in the New Year!

@mytime6630 enjoy your time with your grandson! How exciting for you! Thank you for the continued prayers! 🙏🏼♥️

Hour commitment - I won’t eat again until dinner or if DH wants something earlier. Can still have my dose of metamusal… and maybe a hot chocolate when we get to Zion Natonal Park.

Biometric RS. Primary care checkup. Massage Dec 16 6P. Need to RS colonoscopy. PCP virtual appointment Nov 22 2:15p.

    13. Therapy thoughts: Prioritizing is hard. There is so much that feels important. I need to talk to my parents about later-life plans (particularly assisted living and funeral preferences).

Had a very chill day yesterday. Definitely glad.
2020 WFTY: Progress. 2021 WFTY: Persistence. 2022 WFTY: Focus.
