I've been AWOL for a few days - life is crazily busy! I am making myself check back in and recommit.
Just for today, I will
Plan a healthy lunch
Drink enough water
Won't eat chocolate or ice-cream
Will do my work
Will run with the club later. Even though it's uphill, and I won't feel like it by 6pm.
Also - I will sort the internet connection in the garage (we just moved in to a new place) so I can set up Zwift and do at least something when things get too busy! I used to Zwift literally every day, and now I'm so long out of it, I can hardly face it...

Made my goals for yesterday, holding strong and steady...no big plans for today other than enjoying a day off...and cleaning the bathroom. Hopefuly will make it to the pool with hubby, if not will do a youtube exercise video. I'm down close to 15 pounds in 3 weeks and that alone is very motivating!

Had a pretty good day of child care, I was tired once he went home though. I took him out for lunch, the first time we've "eaten out", we usually have a picnic. It went well, but he wanted to leave the moment he'd finished eating, no relaxing time with this child!
My eating was not great, had muesli for my main meal.

Had a fruit smoothie with my dinner at the Cambodian restaurant - it was sweet, but my husband said it really wasn’t a dessert - I think that was a loophole tonight though. I wasn’t going to have any desserts. Oh well.

Some of you will remember when I first started following along here that my daughters wedding was coming up and then happened. Her 4th anniversary is tomorrow and I’ve just struggled ever since.
I am trying hard to get my mind straight, my sick leave for stress has been incredibly stressful! I saw my doctor today for a follow up, she has prescribed walking, reading, and spending more time with the Grands.
@littleblackskirt - your grandson must be 3 now isn’t he?
@more_freggies76 - I think your husband and I would get along well. I’m always trying to find away to justify.2 -
@Snowflake1968 Grandson had another birthday, he's 4 now! How time flies. I'm sorry you've had such a hard time in recent years, I hope things get better soon. Keep remembering that things always change, you will not have to deal with that work place for ever, there is an end date to it, you just don't know the actual date yet.littleblackskirt wrote: »

Next to last day. Packing up my office. Interviewing replacements. Generally tying up loose ends. Tomorrow is a half day then gone...
I'm excited to start my new job Monday, but a little anxious at the same time.
Health front has been iffy as of late, but not as bad as it could be. I haven't just said F*** it yet.

Laundry can wait until tomorrow. Today is my last day at my old job. I've been here for almost 12 years.
I'm leaving on good terms and will always be grateful for the opportunities DuPont has given me. I'll work until 11:00 when they will take me out to lunch. After lunch I will go home and shower, maybe nap, and get ready to go have drinks/dinner with a coworker or 2 at 4:00pm. Can't stay our too late or drink too much as I have to teach spin at 8:30 Saturday morning.
Other than that, at some point before 10:00am tomorrow I need to clean up the dog poo in the yard so the boys who are going to mow don't have to contend with it. Maybe I'll do that when I get home, then nap, then shower... I may have to skip the nap due to time constraints. That's a bummer.

Hour commitment (updated) - We’ve been out of signal most of the afternoon and we won’t reach our destination until 9pm or so. We’ll get dinner after that. Was getting really hungry around 7 pm, so I had a few of DH’s gum drops and a blow pop. That was 9 hours since eating in the morning. Not too bad really. Now I won’t eat again until dinner. Can have what I want at restaurant.1

I've been staying on track, despite a week of 12 hour days at work. More of the same next week, as deadlines are all on top of each other now...scale has stalled but I think it might be the heat. I've been drinking water by the gallon!

So I've been completely off the rails the last couple of weeks. Not just with diet and exercise but with life in general.
I've definitely had too many energy drinks the last couple of weeks, leaving me feeling manic and not eating properly.
I've also had low level drama going on around me for weeks and we had enough so me and ash turned it into full on drama and now everyone's backed off. But it's left me absolutely shattered. It took me two days to fully calm down and then 2 days to recover/rest from the stress/adrenaline, I've just been so sleepy.
But the whole thing has ticked me off. I didn't wanna get involved but I'm also not having people gang up on me. They soon found out that I'm not somebody you can bully anyway.
The thing I'm most annoyed it how it's knocked me off track. I was eating well, drinking well, doing exercise and actually losing weight!
And now I won't even step on the scale until I have atleast a few good days.
So now I'm just gonna get back to doing that.
Think I'm gonna concentrate on exercise first, my eating in general is okay.
Just can't pick what I wanna do yet.. maybe because TOTM just started so I might wait a day or two for the cramps to stop.
