Entering a food item to your diary has two elements:
- the serving size: the options will depend on the specific food entry, sometimes there's just one option, sometimes many
- the number of servings: depending on the available serving sizes, this may require some arithmetic. For example, if you ate 250gr of a food and the only available serving size is 200gr, that equals 1.25 servings.
If you don't like the available serving sizes after scanning the barcode, you can always try manually entering the food name in the search field. Many foods have several database entries in the database, the barcode scanner doesn't always give you the best option.0
