I have been using Myfitnesspal for over a year, I just struggled with motivation and consistency when it came to being active and making healthier food choices. I am trying a new approach with better intentions and a better plan. I've done keto in the past with little to no activity whatsoever. However, this time around I am not doing keto, instead I am going to limit my carb, sugar, and sodium intake. This will be part of me making healthier decisions. I began walking 3-4 miles 2 days a week and jogging 1 mile 2 days a week. I am far more active and being that I work in a prison, I do a lot of walking on a daily just being on the job. I must say that I have gotten more energy, getting better sleep, and being more active with my son throughout the day because of my healthier habits this past week. I began meal prepping and being more prepared with my meals and snacks to prevent buying fast food. I plan to continue being that this is not just a diet, this is a lifestyle change that I plan to take far more serious than I have in the past. I hope to find people who are just as serious and can be a great accountability and motivational asset to my journey.
