Back again and hope to stay this time!

I'm 47 years old and based in the UK. I rejoin Myfitnesspal every now and then but usually give up in a matter of days. I hate letting people down so figured if I connect with people in a similar situation, I am less likely to drop off the radar at the first sniff of failure (or a jam donut!).

My health is atrocious, mostly self-inflicted after 30-plus years of unhealthy eating and lazy ways. I have Fibromyalgia and a protruding disk so find it hard to exercise. I have been diagnosed with BED (Binge Eating Disorder) and also have "diet" controlled diabetes and to top it off I'm going through menopause. I don't drink or smoke so food is literally my addiction and tied to every emotion but it's killing me slowly and very surely.

Happy to connect with anyone who can relate!

Hello! I have found that I have done similar over the last year. I have joined here 3 or 4 times and gave up quickly. I am hoping with the new year I can finally get into gear. I am 35, I have 2 toddlers so I am exhausted all the time. I work full time though which allows me to at least have a lunch break so sometimes I exercise.
