Went without eating sweets for a month (12/6/22-1/6/23)

It has been 4 weeks and 30 days since I without eating any sweets at all. tomorrow will be officially one month and the last of the challenge. I started this challenge on 12/6/22 with a weight of 167 lbs and a waist and hip measurement of 35 inches by 35 1/2 inches (0.99). Today on day 30, My weight is 164 lbs (-3 lbs). with my waist and hip 34 1/2 inches by 37 1/2 inches (0.93).

    Just curious - are you planning on staying off sweets or reintroducing them to your diet? We’re they a real weak point for you? Just wondered why sweets in particular?

    Sweets are a real puzzle to solve, I did many "No Sweets" personal challenges when I was losing weight.

    Now, (depending on where in the world you live) get ready for Valentines and then Easter. In the States, it's all candy all the time until almost summer. I'd suggest avoiding retail stores until about May, or at least having a mantra to say to yourself before you even go in a store. :lol:

    The reason for me going a month without eating is because I want to live a healthy lifestyle by cutting down on sweets and reducing my waist measurement.

    That is a good question. I am planning on using what I learn from a month of not eating sweets such as not eating them whenever I am hungry or low on energy. Since then, I eat one and it tastes too sweet in my mouth while ending up drinking water to get the taste of sweets out of my mouth. I also make a rule that I eat one sweet two times per week.

    that is a good idea. I will try that method and I live in the USA. You are right about everything on candy on Valentine's and Easter. I will stay away from any retail stores since I don't eat that much candy anymore.

    well, I manage to go without eating sweets for a month by doing research on what food are considered sweets, keeping myself busy, eating fruits and vegetables, meditating, telling myself to stay strong, drinking green tea, and walking. Try finding something that might work for you.
