HEY!! I'm back! And ready to fight for my health!

I have been on a journey where I was misdiagnosed and battled with some major sickness for a little over 2 years. I found a new doc, and we are on the right path again! My friend and I decided we are ready to take back our lives and get active again and lose some of this stubborn body weight that has been holding us back! Yesterday we hit the gym for the first time in a while, and we are doing it!! Hope everyone has a great day!

    What a challenge that must be to suffer through a misdiagnosis. I hope the new doctor has a better handle on what is assaulting your body.

    Take it slow at the gym. It's easy to overdo it, and then you'll be sidelined for a while. I'm sure you know that you'll also need to focus on what and how much you eat in order to manage your weight. Exercise is GREAT. It helps us have healthier bodies. Both cardiovascular exercise and strength training have amazing benefits as does stretching. For weight management, you've got to balance your diet, too.
