September Photo Challenge

The flash diet requires you to take a photo of all the food you eat. The diet is based on the principle that by taking a photo of the food you eat, you will make better food choices.

For September, I am taking photo's of everything I eat and drink (only drinking water). If I want to drink soda then the picture will make me think twice <
talk about accountability.

Also I am taking pictures of myself after every workout.

What do you think?

I think if it motivates you and you feel accountable to it, it's as good a place to start as any. I guess it's just a different way of logging. Are you also counting calories, macros, etc? Or is it more of a quality assurance kind of thing?

I don't count calories I eat 100% raw . I just like to make eating healthy and working out fun and exciting! I have been taking pictures for a few days and I think it's weird how I eat way more than I can recall.

Now working out that's my issue I skip days more than I should and when I do workout it's nice to see myself red in the face and feeling so accomplished.

Yes, that's a good feeling, isn't it? I think it's worth it to do little things that make the journey interesting and fun. Enjoy!

Some people choose to eat raw fish or selected meats, but green leafy vegetables, beans, seeds, nuts, and grains are all good sources of protein. Quinoa has become super popular lately for this reason, among others. Nutritional yeast can help with B-12. For calcium, kale, wheat berries, apricots, dates, etc.

Too much work for me, but I admire your dedication. lol I would probably have to live on salads and juices/smoothies and take my chances!

I eat mostly fruits and vegetables. I also drink a raw protein drink daily (garden of life). Raw nuts and seeds. I live by a farmers market so eat all kinds of fruits and vegetable. I take a multivitamin too.
