I'm very tempted to reset my 'meals' as time periods as above. I think I might get a better picture of my habits this way. Yep, talked myself into it: changing now!

I log by the time as well. It makes it easier for me to see my patterns. I work third shift so my day begins at 3pm, when I awake for the new day. The only thing I find difficult about that is that I'm 9 hours earlier than actual time/new day. actually a day ahead of the calendar because my day starts at 3pm. So I'm trying to figure out the time zones and fixing that in my settings so that I don't have to remember to move to the next day when I start logging.

I consider a "day" to be from when I wake up until when I go to sleep, regardless of the actual hours on the clock.
