App Notification Question

When I comment on a friend's status on my news feed, how do I turn off the alerts that come across my phone that someone else also commented on it? It's getting annoying to me to get them every single day.

The MyFitnessPal apps for iPhone, iPad and Android can send you a push notification if certain activities take place on your account.
To begin, in the Menu (or "More" page) tap "Settings" then "Push Notifications."
Select the notifications you'd like to receive.
You can also set a "quiet time" during which notifications will not be delivered. When everything is configured correctly, tap the "✓" button.
Please note that your device as a whole may have its own Notification settings. Make sure these are configured to allow notifications to arrive from the MyFitnessPal app.
