New to app but not new

Hello, I'm new to this app. I made goal in 2005 on WW and was able to maintain for quite some time. Life happened and I started to gain weight. Then life hit me hard with the loss of my spouse and I gained more weight. I am now back to what I was when I started WW the first time. I need to lose about 80 lbs to get back to "goal" weight. I tried Noom last year as obviously what I was doing wasn't working, so I gained another 10lbs. So I am now trying this because I know if I can track, I will lose weight. I just want to lose 5-10 lbs to give me some momentum. Life is happening again with aging parents but I have to keep trying a little because I have proven to myself that if i don't try, it gets worse. And I don't want to get worse.
