Convert kJ to Calories

Hi,
I needed to enter the food I made for supper manually. I Googled how to convert kJ to calories. When I entered the amount the app displayed a message that some info might be wrong. Google converted the kJ to kilo calories. I suspect this is the issue, but I have no idea how to fix it, but also what value to fill in on the nutrition page for calories.
Please help.

I believe that what we colloquially call calories are actually "kilocalories"0

do you live in a country where all nutritional information is displayed in kJ (kilojoules)? There might not be a need to convert anything. when you created your account you could chose between kJ and kc (kilo calories, or just calories) I'm sure you can find this in your account settings somewhere and then just switch from calories to kj.1
