    Motivation will only get you so far. It has limited supplies. What you need to do is start developing habits. You can lose 35 kg; take it slow, create goals, and find strategies to get you there. Then just stick to it! I doubt you're "motivated" to brush your teeth every day or go to work, yet you do.

    It's all about developing habits that you can stick with for the long term. And do take it slow because that's more likely to be something you keep doing. Once you've lost the 35 kg, then you have to very slightly change your goal to maintain. That's actually just as hard, but you don't have to worry about that for a year or so.
