When will you fix this bug?

It is obvious that the system retains a reference for the last comment I viewed on each discussion. Normally, when I go to a discussion, I am taken to the point in the discussion thread where the first comment that I haven't viewed appears.
However, when using my Android phone, if I go to a discussion that has no newer comments that I haven't viewed, the system loses its reference and takes me to a comment 60 days prior to the current date.
This spills over to when I view that discussion on my laptop. Until a new comment is posted, the system thinks I haven't seen any comment in the last ~60 days.

I found these examples on February 2nd at around 3pm PST.

Notification Example 1:
Notification: "There are 46 new comments on discusion: Wrong Answers Only!"
1) Note that it shows the profile picture for @cmsienk and the time 2:29 pm.
2) Note that the time 2:29 pm is when the latest comment was posted on this discussion.
3) but when this link is followed, it displays the comment on page 56 posted by @cmsienk on December 5th, 2022 at 12:57AM.

Notification Example 2:
Notification: "There are 515 new comments on discussion: True or False"
1) Note that it shows the profile picture for @s1im62 and the time 10:32 am.
2) Note that the time 10:32 am is when the latest comment was posted to that discussion.
3) when clicking on this link, it displays the comment on page 1795 posted by @s1im62 on December 2, 2022 at 3:19PM.

In both cases, I had previously viewed those discussions including the last comments posted on the last page of each.
