MFP flow to Fitbit?

I track my exercise with my Fitbit which is linked to MFP, but I log my food intake on MFP. Today I was on my Fitbit dashboard and saw food log entries, some which matched the calories for the meals I logged on MFP and some not matching. Does food logged on MFP flow over to Fitbit like the way exercise flows from Fitbit to MFP? I don't see actual food entries on Fitbit, just entries like Breakfast Summary, Dinner Summary, etc

The numbers actually ARE "correct". What happens though, is that if you made changes to your MFP entries AFTER they had already synchronized to Fitbit--which is a timing that you do not control--the changed entries transmit as brand new ones without replacing the exist ones.

So your calories go way up because you now have three lunches and two dinners and four breakfasts in the particular day where you made diary changes after the synchronization had taken place.

There was something wonky with Fitbit today. I went to their forum because mine wouldn’t sync, and there was a notice that said they are aware of some problems. I only just now got a data flow to MFP. I don’t see my MFP calories in my Fitbit app though. Is it maybe a setting that got turned on when they updated or something?

I've had friends from both Canada and New Zealand reporting Fitbit device--phone app--mothership sync problems today.

My Fitbit+MFP integration goes back several years and has not been touched. I don't even have food in my Fitbit phone app. I think I've only ever looked at it on the web site 🤷‍♂️ apparently if you touch calories on Android you see the relevant section (scroll down past the graph and "recipes" and/or turn off "suggestions" to see the "day")
