Best way to log Active Energy and Exercise totals

I am a Premium subscriber and MFP is recommending a kilojoule intake of 10,000KJ per day, which sounds about right for my height and goals. Apple Health tallies my Active Energy but only part of that figure (the KJs I specifically log as exercise) is synced with MFP. In other words, my Active Energy might be 4000KJ but the logged exercise part of that is only 2500KJ.
Should be i manually add the balance of the Active Energy figure to MFP to get a more accurate daily report?
