Exercise Goal in MFP

Does the exercise goal you put into MFP factor into any of it's calculations? What is that number for?

No it does not. It causes quite a bit of confusion because of this.
It is basically just another goal, a time/frequency one.0 -
I think it's leftover from some earlier version of the software where they incorporated the tdee method and they never bothered to get rid of eat when they switched to the Eat Back method. It's the MFP version of your appendix0
