Hello! My name is Edgar and I want to try losing some weight :3 We're all in this together, & we all to make some change in our lives!     What long-term and short-term goals have you set for yourself?

    Well long term I want to lose approx. 80 pounds total. More or less, ultimately I just want to feel healthier, the exact number is not too important. Also I want a lifestyle change, I want to be more active and experience new things!

    Short term, I want to try taking 10,000 steps each day and eating very carefully! I want to shed weight fast!

    That sounds like a great way to start!

    I lowered my step goal to 7,500 after doing some research that said this was the amount that provides benefit. The 10,000 number came from a company that makes pedometers. My current goal is to walk at least 5K three or four times a week. I'm mostly getting that every day.

    Build good habits you can keep up for the long term; ten thousand steps per day is one of those for sure! I wish you success in ALL your goals.
