Help me lose weight

Hi,

I’m a mother of 3 and I’m starting my journey on being a healthier me. Which includes losing some weight. It’s funny because before kids all I wanted was to gain weight.

Unfortunately for me all my weight gain goes to my belly. I’ve never gone on a diet or ever exercised. If anyone has any suggestions on protein powders, exercises I could do at home or just anything it would be highly appreciated.

I had a baby 6 months ago and I really want to feel good this summer. I want get motivated to make this change.

    Exercise is great for fitness. If you're after fat loss, it's all about calories. Use the tools here on MFP to track what you eat and how you move. Log consistently and honestly. Observe for several weeks and see if your weight does what you would expect based on your calorie budget goals. If it's working, stick to it. If it's not quite right, make some changes to the goals and just keep sticking to it.

    Being a dad is what I am proudest of in life! My kids are ages 11-9-7. Good on you for taking on this journey!
