I do the majority of my "frying" in an air fryer. Here's one of my g-to's. Note that the seasoning makes extra to keep for another use. Plan on using 1 Tbsp. per salmon fillet:
Two 4-oz. skinless salmon fillets
Olive oil cooking spray
Seasoning:
2 tablespoons smoked paprika or sweet paprika
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon cumin
¼ teaspoon allspice
Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees. Spray cooking surface. Pat salmon fillets dry and spray tops lightly with cooking spray. Season both sides. Cook salmon (2 inches thick) about 8 minutes on 330 degrees. Temp check - should be 125 degrees for fully cooked. I often surround the fillets with a veggie of choice like zucchini half-moons, asparagus spears or broccoli (seasoned), to get the veggies cooked at the same time. If you do this, after removing fillets, turn temp up to 400 and blast them for another 1-2 minutes to get roasted properly.
