Gym Playlist

Options
I don't really know if this is the right section to post in (sorry admins) but I was wondering what playlists you guys have on your mp3/iPods that really get you into the groove of exercise? I find certain songs make me work harder without thinking about it!
So, was wondering what you lot had that gets your booty shaking!

I'm looking for a bit of inspiration - I tend to use the same stuff all the time.. and considering I go a lot- it's getting dull!

I have some hardcore dance tracks on a 2 hour mix for when I run so that I dont concentrate too hard on my breathing (or how hard it is!)!!!
For the gym I use itunes to get the latest tunes from the radio that I have heard that keep me interested - I change them probably every month or so so that I don't get bored!!

For me, it depends on what I"m doing. When I'm teaching Zumba, it's mostly Latin stuff. But I've started running (okay, jogging...shhh) and I tend to put songs that are a bit harder sounding:

    1. All I do is Win (DJ khaled)
    2. Freak on a Leash (Korn)
    3. Remember the name (Fort Minor)
    4. I Alone (Live)
    5. The Anthem (Pitbull)
    6. Stronger (Kanye west)
    7. Massive Attack (Nicki Minaj/Sean Garrett)

Some of mine (it has about 45 songs on it right now - need to edit it)

    Stronger // Kanye West
Chemical Reaction // Aly & AJ
Party Foul // Family Force 5
Potential Breakup Song // Aly & AJ
    Energy // Keri Hilson
4 Minutes // Madonna, ft. Justin Timberlake
    American Woman // Lenny Kravitz

That's all I can of right now, haha!

If you have an iTouch or such like then I find the Genius playlist works wonders for me!!! I pick a song I find gets me going then Genius does all the rest - I dont even have to worry about choosing songs for the playlist - based on your first choice it will pick you a host of songs :-)

On most days I choose between hip hop(because of the fast beat--high school marching band still forces me to walk/jog/move on the beat, in time) or heavy metal/speed metal/melodic metal/heavy rock(the beat in addition to the intensity). I find both these types of music help me focus and the beats push me. It really depends on my mood. Like, today, I'm in such a positive mood I would rather listen to something with more of an Indie/Alternative/techno-ish feel like M83 or Apparat, because it feeds my mood. If I'm aggravated and feeling like it's too hard, I like to listen to the metal stuff, and if I'm feelin light and goofy I like the hip-hop. I think whatever feeds my mood helps me the most.

My favorite songs for working out are:

    Skillet - Energy
    Skillet - Monster
ANY SONG EVER WRITTEN by Kanye West :)
    Avenged Sevenfold - Scream

Huey Lewis and The News has an awesome beat to their songs. I also like Lady Gaga. I am primarily an 80's type of person but having teenagers opens me to other music.

I am then going to confess to also having "Hey Mickey" by the Riplets and "I'm in the mood" by the Nolans - mid (late) 30's - that's not good is it??!! Do I redeem myself by also having hardcore dance music too (unlikely!)?
