Garmin Steps & Calories not sync'ing

Hello - Today I switched my activity tracker from Fitbit to Garmin. Garmin Connect & MFP apps are both showing as linked and I have selected Garmin as my steps tracker in the MFP app. The steps and calorie adjustment are both displaying as zeros on my phone. I also noticed that Fitbit is still showing as my steps tracker (under the calorie adjustment) even though I have selected Garmin for this task. Steps I have tried to resolve:

1. Disconnected & reconnected both GC & MFP apps;
2. Chosen to not track steps and closed the MFP app. After a couple minutes I relaunched and chose Garmin again;
3. Logging out of MFP app & logging back in

None of the above have worked. Can someone help ? Thank you !
