Hello, and welcome (back)!
I started here at about the same age (I was 59). MFP was a huge help in improving my health and (in my case) reaching a healthy body weight. Now in year 7+ of maintaining that healthy weight (and staying very active at age 67), my consistency approach is "pretty good, on average, over a day or few". So far, so good.
