The answer will largely depend on the situation. Rock tends to be faster paced, good beat, and can help get the blood pumping during exercise or parties where you want people to feel an adrenaline rush. Country is often slower paced and more story-driven in nature, and makes for good background music when doing chores or studying. Pop is kind of halfway between the two, and is often found playing at spas or on overhead speakers in stores where people are browsing leisurely.

None of the three genres will be universally enjoyed. I enjoy all three personally, but feel each has its place and time to be played.
