Greetings,
Been on MFP since mid April and am doing really well.
Rapidly closing in on 50 pounds down and have about 30 to go.
Hoping to hit that by the end of the year at the latest.
I have a solid group on my feed but over the last month or two it has been dwindling quite a bit so I am posting to see if anyone would like to add me to thier list.
I'm a 44 year old guy with 2 young kids in the midst of a divorce and will be sharing custody so that is going to dictate my workouts and keep it interesting. Enough of that.
I've always carried a few extra lbs.but for some reason I got a hair across my backside this past spring and decided to go on a mission to eradicate it. I have only been aproaching lean once in my adult life back in my late 20's.
I am once again a practicing martial artist, got a blackbelt in Kempo back in 1995 and stopped shortly thereafter.
Now I have started again from scratch on the other side of the Kenpo tree, very similar but different enough to keep it interesting.
My first love is Ice Hockey though, although I live in Arizona I am a born and bred New England guy to my core.
I took a season off and I told myself I'd start back at it when I dropped 50, I was tired of not being one of the best on the ice here. I was always a decent player but age and weight had really done a number on my game. So I am hitting the ice for the Fall/Winter season here very shortly.
I'm also shooting to do the tough mudder this coming February in Arizona....going to be a bear but I am motivated to get it done.
So....hoping to add a few people to my feed to share and cheer on.
I keep my diary wide open for all to see.
If you keep it closed that is fine too, I completely understand that - I just enjoy picking off ideas and seeing what works for others.
I am not a member of the food Police either, what people choose to eat and not eat is a personal decision and it is not my place to offer unsolicited advice.
However ask me anything and I am more than happy to share and help.
I am a big beliver in the TDEE Method and eating back calories, it is working for me
I also use a fitbit, the thing is money and it integrates like a champ to MFP and Runkeeper.
So...feel free to add me if so inclined and good luck to all.
